Lance used to work in the circus as contortionist until he was conscripted into the army at 19. Because of his excellent performance, he was sent into the OCT (Officer Cadet Training) Course, as was promoted to 2LT. Lance thought that the military was a good career option for him and he signed on. During the war, his unit was routed and destroyed despite all kinds of tactics he threw at the powerful enemy.  Fearing for his life, he decided to surrender, in exchange for his life and old job. Lance retains his old job, and now in charge of training in the new militia battalions of  Canterlot; watched by their demon masters.

Recently he has purchased Crimson as a slave, thinking that he could use some needed 'extra help'. However, he seems to be smitten with her, even if he hasn't say anything or express his feelings yet.

Brief History: Born from a wealthy and influential couple, Shining Armor was heavy influenced by the knight chivalry code of honor. He wanted to become a knight and embrace everything about knighthood including polishing weaponry and reading up about champions. Finally when he came of age he joined a army recruitment camp and later rose to the rank of 'Captain of The Royal Guards'. His ability to create defensive magic was essential in the defense of Canterlot. The powerful barriers kept the Demon Army at bay for a week until he was back-stabbed by his own trusted ponies, causing defenses to weaken considerably. Shining Armor's pride and stubbornness has kept him at bay from seeing internal threats until it was too late.

Reckoning Day History of Shining Armor & days beyond.
When the shield wall was broken, and Shining Armor being stabbed; the battle was decided immediately with Dread Knight sending in massive amount of troops to siege the capital. Necomancers, Pyromancers and thousands of other crack troops quickly descended upon the vulnerable city. Shining Armor would have the numbers to fight back, if not for the sheer number of troops that were deflected in an earlier battle. He then fainted shortly after. When he awoke to the battle cry and healed by Princess Celestia, in which the later advised him to escape. Taking no time, he does so with Cadence and fled to the Crystal Empire to organize a strong resistance against Canterlot New Rulers. Fast forward to 5 years. The Crystal Empire Resistance was weary from sending troops to help Canterlot earlier; as well as fighting it's own siege. Even with its allies. Dread Knight then took over its Capital. Desperately, Shining Armor sent Cadence with most of the remaining troops to a place called 'ROE'S ISLAND', where they have a small set of heavily guarded fortresses.

History: Being born to a silver spoon life, Valiant has never known the outside cruel world of life outside the palace. However, he has attended to the palace's private animal collection, thus having a affinity with beast magic. He could calm beasts and make them submit to his will. To the more loyal ones, Valiant made 'soul contracts', so that he could call upon them to materialize where ever he likes. In this free time, he likes to flirt around with mares; mostly unsuccessful and to this father's chagrin. Besides animal duties, he has to take care of the capital finances with the Finance minister under his father's orders. During the fall of Canterlot, Valiant was in charge of protecting Princess Twilight with his animals. However, being seduced with a succubus, he decided to have sex with her instead of doing just that. When Ryker burst into the room with his beloved wife dead, he was angry and beat up Valiant, releasing him from his spell. Valiant laid blame on the succubus but she already escaped. To redeem himself, he decided to join the Resistance with the position of 'Treasurer'. He seems to have taken a small liking to Blaze, but doesn't want to admit that.

Personality/Backstory: Blaze was a young and naieve mare from Ponyville, where she had recently become a single teen mother after the father disappeared. Originally planning on abortion, which her parents refused, she actually gained an affinity to her newborn daughter. She raised the foal, and the two shared an unbreakable bond. One day, Blaze got a promising job offer, located in Canterlot. She jumped at the oppurtunity, and she and her daughter moved to the large capital city. The two lived a happy life in canterlot. But that all changed when the demons attacked. As they wrecked and pillaged the city, Blaze's daughter was crushed by falling debris. Blaze was overstricken with grief. She was one of the few ponies who was pulled into an underground shelter, not having to become the demon's slaves. These ponies later became known as the resistance, fighting to take Equestria out of demon control. Blaze was glad to join the group and get as much revenge as possible on the demons who killed her daughter. She may have once been a generally upbreat and cheerful pony, but not anymore. Now she is hot-headed, uncaring, and ruthless. Deep down, however, she does care for the remaining survivors of the demon attack, and shows this by freeing slaves and giving poor ponies food, hopefully convincing them to join the resistance.

Personality/Backstory: Before the rockoning day, Ryker was your average sergeant in the royal guard. He shared good times with his fellow soldiers, and protected the princesses with his life. However, he life was changed when he had to guard princess Twilight Sparkle one night, and the two grew...close. Twilight soon began requesting Ryker as the only guard to protect her, and he would be hapy to oblige. Very soon, unsurprisingly, the two became romantically involved. The two were soon married, and expected to live a happy life, with a foal on the way. The foal came, and the family was happy for a few years. That's when the demons attacked. As they destroyed the city, they captured each of the princesses. While the others gave up, Twilight resisted, and they executed her just as Ryker arrived. Stricken with grief, he saw no choice other than to take his son and hide in a large underground shelter originally used as a base for soldiers. With help from some of his fellow soldiers, he herded a few hundred ponies into the shelter. A few months went by, and the ponies, including Ryker and his son, went from scared to angry. Angry at the demons for taking their home. And so, the resistance was formed. The ponies elected Ryker as their leader, as he was the one who originally brought them all in. Now, the resistance is a well known group that the demons are constantly hunting for. They've shown that are no ordinary small revolution with the liberation of entire slave camps and the assassination of several key demon generals.

Currently, he has a bad relationship with his father, because he never lets him out to do work for the resistance, and is always blaming Ryker for Twilight's death. Deep down, however, he still loves his father and just misses his mother. When they defeat the demons, Ryker plans to have Dusk on the throne, as he is part of the royal family and is the only one trustworthy enough after all the other princesses gave in to the demons.

When the demons attacked the succubus plane of Tartarus, the resulting conquest left the race nearly wiped out, with little survivors. Anora, not wanting to die, instead kneeled to King Mal, offering herself to him. She was taken in, originally as a slave, but eventually showed her prowess in planning battles and offering advice to Mal. She was promoted to advisor, and was a planner for the siege of Canterlot. Anora actually despises the demons for what they did to her race, but can't really do much for revenge. She can only take out her anger on the ponies that she helps dictate, which she does with glee.

When she awoke, she was in a warm bed, in what looked to be some kind of castle. Beside her was a more who introduced herself as Anora. Anora had rescued Ember from death and nursed her back to health. The demons needed to find some use for her, so they ended up training her as an assassin. While she isn't the best or most renowned at the job, she has her fair share of kills. She hopes to one day have her mother on her list of targets, seeking vengeance for being left behind.

After seeing how corrupt it was, he decided to make it his home. He doesn't side with any fraction and instead messes with each pony. Doing things like having loyal couples cheat on each other, making ponies that are part of the rebellion extremely horny, causing fights amongest ponies in the same fraction, and simplely just causing insanity and confusion.
