He nods. "...A group of ponies wanted to take over Equestria and put their own god on the throne. Crazy worshippers. They've brought their own foals into an abandoned castle, away from towns, locked us up in the basement, in different jail like cells. They 'prepared' us for what they wanted to do over some years, but they were all insane, most of us died along the way and the ones that survived... we have some really unpretty scars. I've got a pentagram carved into my chest... Anyways, they summoned one demon and prepared the others to be containers for other ones, but things went wrong, they all died. That demon had the name Stigma, she and I don't get along very well, but... Umbra made her save me. We had the choice, either become a host to a beast or die and become said beast, we chose to live."

Most of us anyways, we had to put some down along the way, sadly, but... that's three years ago now. Since then we're stuck like this... Some of us don't even age anymore, no escape..."

He shrugs. "I've not survived that shit to die now. I wanna have a life worth living, and I'm gonna make this one into one, and if that's the last thing I do." He grins. "On my deathbed I wanna be able to say that I don't regret surviving, you know? And I actually can, I've made some ponies happy in my lifetime, I've cheered someone up... right now an old friend needs my help, afterwards we'll see what I can do, if there's anything. And if I die during this at least I can say I died fighting for a friend."
